Boyfriend

So now I guess I should say a bit more about Logan. Well, Logan is from Grove Hill and graduated from CCHS the same year I graduated. I meet him at my church two or three years ago. We became friends on facebook and chated a bit and then exchanged phone numbers and were friends. Didn't really think much about each other at all. Then end of May/June time we started texting again. I thought nothing about it at all, we were friends. Then the asked if I wanted to "hang out" and so kindly added "and yes I just asked you on a date." I loved the clarity :) so we hung out. It was really nice and I had a great time! A few weeks later he asked me on a second date and then I became his girlfriend and we have had a great time together we have been together for close to a month and a half! I love him! But as the summer ends and school starts back he had to move back to Troy yesterday.  It was a sad day and I cried, a bit. I know I will miss him. He will be trying to come home two weekends a month which is great. We also have Skype which we have already been burning up. (Pic: Moving Logan in at Troy.)

Through this whole relationship and him moving I have learned something. With a new relationship it is easy to find yourself with a new identity. You must be careful not to lose yourself so completely that once that person leave for school or even just leaves for a family vacation that you do not know who you are. I am so glad a have Logan. He is a great man of God and I am so lucky.

A Bit of Catch Up

So long time no blog!  I took a bit of time off because of laziness and now I have a good bit to cover. I might just use two posts to keep it all organized. So. a good bit has happened since the Spring semester started.  The Spring semester went well for those who are wondering. I had a great time. I guess the biggest thing was my first year of college ended. which felt strange. I had thia whole "no way I'm old enough to be in college much less be done with my first year" feeling. I ended my semester with a 3.0 GPA which I was proud of!

Then came summer! This summer has been one of the best yet! You what to know why? Well I started dating this guy who soon became my boyfriend. Logan Horton. He is really sweet and a gentleman always opening doors and such! (I will tell you more about him in my next post.)

With summer came VBS, which me and my sister was directing this year! Most of the time I wondered if I bit off more than I could chew. Believe me, I do not enjoys telling people what to do and where to be, but you got to do what God tells you to do! so I got organized gathered my troops and we worked. And worked. And worked. And worked some more! It was an amazing experence!  It was the most stressful week of my life but it was well worth it! Here's how it went. We held meets randomly months and weeks before the week of. You know to get people together, get food and administration and other rotations ready to go. Then the week before we decorated and highly promoted it. Then the big day arrived! The first night was CRAZY! I felt so unprepared. Then the technical diffculties came. I hid most of the night. But all in all it went well.  The rest of the week went perfectly! I was kinda (I said kinda) sad it was over. We had three boy make decisions to follow Christ and were soon baptised as a result of VBS.
